Kindergartners students at Birch Lane Elementary School got a special treat in advance of Halloween on Oct. 23 when they visited the pumpkin patch. It is an annual fall tradition at the school.
Each class went outside and students walked around until they found the perfect gourd to bring home. The prior afternoon, students from Birch Lane’s Kindness Club, advised by Emma Fountain and Gabriella Fielding, set up dozens of pumpkins on the lawn.
