Important Update to the MSD School Lunch Program

We are pleased to inform you that Massapequa UFSD will be implementing a meal certification option available to schools participating in the National School Lunch Program for 2025-2026.

All students enrolled in Massapequa UFSD are eligible to receive a healthy lunch at school at no charge to your household each day of the 2025-2026 school year. No further action is required of you. Your child(ren) will be able to participate in these meal programs without having to pay a fee or submit an application.

The Food and Nutrition Services department is made up of a team of food and nutrition professionals that are dedicated to students' health, well being and their ability to learn. We support learning by promoting healthy habits for lifelong nutrition and fitness practices.

Meals, foods and beverages sold or served at schools meet state and federal requirements which are based on the USDA Dietary Guidelines. We provide students with access to a variety of affordable and appealing foods that meet the health and nutrition needs of students.
