Second Annual Parent University
-
We are excited to announce our 2nd annual Massapequa School District Parent University, which is a wonderful opportunity for parents and educators to come together for an evening of learning and connecting. Please save the date: This year’s new date and location is February 26, 2025 at MHS-Ames Campus, which is an update from our original scheduled date and location posted on our district calendar!
The aim of the Parent University is to strengthen a bridge between home and school in the development of our children. It truly takes a village. The Parent University will be designed in a workshop format with a variety of course offerings. Parents/guardians will choose workshops based on interest or need and will receive information and resources. In addition, there will be the opportunity for discourse and discussion during the event.
To help create our workshops, we are inviting parents/guardians to participate in a ThoughtExchange, “As we prepare to develop Parent University, which workshop topics would you be most interested in learning more about as a parent?” The exchange closes on December 2, 2024.
