Instructional Technology Resources

  • This webpage provides instructional technology resource names with grade-level/subject availability, descriptions, log-in information for different devices (E.g. iPads), and links to tutorials. Please note, we always recommend the Google Chrome Browser for all of our web-based resources and creating Chrome profiles for shared devices.

    If the resource on this webpage indicates to log-in with ChiefNet, please click on the Chiefnet link or visit www.msd.k12.ny.us/chiefnet and log-in with your child’s network username (first.lastname) and password. If the resource indicates to log-in with Google, please click on the Google sign-in option and log-in with your child’s Google (first.lastname@msd23.org) and password. Parents of students in Grades K-7 can access their child’s network (first.lastname) and Google username (first.lastname@msd23.org) and password via the Student Portfolio tab located on the Parent Portal - https://www.msd.k12.ny.us/parentportal. Parents of students in Grades 8-12 can ask their child for their student-created password that is student-managed in our User Password Management tool located below.

    If Grade K-12 students or parents need additional log-in and/or resource support during this time, we ask that you please complete the following form:

    If Grade 6-12 students need a non-functioning Chromebook repaired during this time, we ask that a parent completes the following form after 1. Check charger cable connections (disconnect/connect) and plug in to a different outlet. 2. Reset your Chromebook hardware:

  • 3/5/20 Grade K-8 BrainPop Creative Coding: We are excited to announce that BrainPop Creative Coding is now available for students in Grades K-8. Student Coding Resources

  • 2/27/20 Grade 6 and 7 Student Passwords: In order to simplify the network and Google log-in process for our current 6th and 7th grade students, the district will be assigning new passwords in homeroom on 3/2/20. On/After this date, students will no longer manage their own passwords.
