This year, they are upping their game with three major prizes. Just like any donation, all money will go towards our Make A Wish total. Dear Lockhart Families: As part of our Make A Wish campaign, we will be hosting a "Frozen Night" fundraiser on December 8, from 5:00-6:30. Students in grades K-5 can purchase tickets for $10, with all proceeds going to Make A Wish. This is a student only event (no parents) and will be capped at 150 students. During the event, students will be treated to two Frozen shorts, receive a cookie and a gift bag, and do some coloring and sing along activities! Staff will be here to have a great time with the kids and continue to raise money for a great cause. Kids are invited to wear pajamas to make the event even more special. Below is a flyer with a tear off to send in the money and a hard copy is going home. Once the 150 student limit is reached, we will not be able to accept any late entries or no walk ins. All money is due by 12/4.

Dear Lockhart Families: Tomorrow is our rapid dismissal drill with all students being dismissed 15 minutes early at 2:40. Please be outside the dismissal doors for this time. As part of this drill, there are no After School Clubs for students, however, the YMCA after care will run as usual.

Dear Lockhart Families: What a great start to our Make A Wish campaign! Hundreds of kids and family members from Lockhart packed the back field for our Walk A Thon! This promises to be the most special one yet. The good news is, the cookies and magnet sales will continue this week! We will be selling cookies at all lunch periods for $1 and the special hand made magnets made by our 5th Graders are one for $3 and two for $5. Students will have the opportunity to buy this week. Also, the big hit was our Lucky Ducks! There are still plenty of opportunities to buy a duck and get a raffle ticket for a special experience with our teachers. Lucky Ducks will be sold by our Student Council in every classroom from 12/3-12/9. Winners for the raffles will be picked on 12/10. Thank you again!

Following dismissal, students and staff can gather on the back lawn to drum up excitement for our Make A Wish campaign. Students will get lap sheets and stickers to record their laps and there will be plenty of items for sale with all proceeds going to our Make A Wish donation. As always, there will be hot cocoa, cookies, and items for sale from our Student Council. The new addition to this year is the student raffles. With the purchase of the "Lucky Ducks," students will receive a raffle ticket to potentially win an experience/activity with our teachers. Many teachers have come up with fun activities that will take place at either 8:00 or during lunch/recess. An updated list of the activities is below as well as the list of items for sale.
