Dear 11th and 12th grade students and families:
On Wednesday, April 1, 2026 the Jr./Sr PTSA will be sponsoring the Save A Life Tour for our eleventh and twelfth grade students. It is an interactive demonstration that sets up a simulation for the effects of impaired and distracted driving behavior. Eleventh and twelfth graders can attend during their lunch/study halls or out periods. Teachers are also invited to bring down their classes to participate. It will be set up in the upper gym from 8:20 am to 1:45 pm. Attached is an informational flyer including links to an anonymous student survey and a video presentation.

Friday, March 27 – Color Wars Day, Show your class pride! 10th Grade: Purple, 11th Grade: Blue, 12th Grade: Pink, Staff: Green
Monday, March 30 – Spring Slumber Day, Roll into school in your comfiest pajamas!
Tuesday, March 31 – Tie‑Dye Tuesday, Wear tie‑dye and brighten up the halls with spring colors.
Wednesday, April 1 – Spring Sports Day Wear your Massapequa gear! Spring athletes—wear your jerseys to be recognized!
Egg Hunt — Every Day! Keep your eyes open all week for hidden eggs around the building. Join the fun daily!

Dear Massapequa Families,
This morning, our building experienced an unexpected fire alarm which required all students and staff to evacuate. The students and staff were outside for approximately ten minutes. The building has since been cleared for reentry and our normal school day has fully resumed.
Thank you for your ongoing support and cooperation in helping us maintain a safe environment for all students and staff.

Later that evening, America will have the chance to vote on whether Jesse advances to the next round when the new episode airs on ABC (Channel 7) at 8:00 p.m. Be sure to tune in and cast your vote!
