Lockhart Elementary -

As part of our PTA Culture and Arts program, our 4th graders took part in a full day experience about Native American culture that gave students the opportunity to learn about Native American Eastern Woodlands Tribes of our region. Through storytelling, song and dance, cultural artifacts and hands-on activities, the students learned about traditions and folktales. The program helped students gain an understanding of Native Americans and how they had great respect for their environment. The students loved the presentation and we thank the Journeys program for visiting our school.
