Berner's annual Thinks Pink fundraiser will take place this Thursday, October 16th! Student Council will continue selling t-shirts for $12.00 each. Additionally, we will sell some specialty items on Thursday: Jolly Rancher lollipops, vinyl stickers, and bracelet for $2.00 each. Please note that there are limited quantities and that sales will take place during all lunch periods. All proceeds will go the The Side Out Foundation and Babylon Breast Cancer Coalition.
Also, please show your support and help raise awareness by wearing PINK this Thursday, October 16!

Photo retakes for school portraits will take place on Wednesday, October 22, and Thursday, October 23. Pictures will be taken outside of the auditorium during all lunch periods.

Dear Berner Parents, Students, and Staff:
We are excited to announce that our annual "Berner Boo'd'' fundraiser will take place on Friday, October 31st! Prior to the event, students will be selling candy "boos" for $1.00 each.
These "boos" will be on sale during all lunch periods on Monday, October 20th, through Thursday, October 23rd. They will be distributed to students during homeroom on Halloween.

Earlier today, a safety concern was brought to the attention of the Berner Middle School administration. Following district protocols and procedures proactively, we notified the Nassau County Police Department. They responded to our school and fully addressed the matter, ensuring that there is no ongoing threat to our school community.
The safety and well-being of our students and staff is always our top priority. Be assured that we will continue to work closely with our central office team and law enforcement partners in taking all necessary precautions to maintain a safe and secure school environment for everyone at Berner.

The 8th grade "Big Picture" is scheduled for Tuesday, October 7th , during your child's 9th-period class. The 8th-grade picture is prominently featured in our yearbook. We look forward to having all of our 8th graders participate!
