For band, I did not realize that the stand racks and percussion equipment were still in the classroom and not on stage because of the Spotlight conflict before break. In a rush, I was trying to set up and Nicholas was there early. He saw another student helping me and jumped in right away to assist as well. He helped move both stand racks out of the classroom and into the GP room. He also helped move percussion equipment, chairs, and music stands. I am so grateful for his help and kindness!

For band, I did not realize that the stand racks and percussion equipment were still in the classroom and not on stage because of the Spotlight conflict before break. In a rush before practice, I was trying to set up and Mark was there early. He jumped right in without hesitation and moved both stand racks out of the classroom and into the GP room. He also helped move percussion equipment, chairs, and music stands. I was incredibly grateful for his kindness and assistance! I did not even ask, he just said, "I'll help you!" His model behavior even influenced the second student who arrived to help as well.

During Book Reunion Day, she showed such kindness, leadership and inclusiveness in the way she supported a new student. She was so thoughtful to include him, consistently checked in to be sure he felt comfortable and encouraged him to participate. She also invited a friend to join her group during turn and share, making sure no one felt left out. Her actions truly reflected empathy, inclusivity, and strong character.

As a secretary walked up the steps, making her way to the school entrance, he opened the main door and waited for her to enter the building before going inside himself. It was a day when the temperature outside was 11° and the Real Feel was -5°…and he greeted her with a smile.
