Dear Parents/Guardians and School Visitors,

We are excited to transition to our new front desk visitor check-in system this week in all of our district and school buildings.

As a reminder, all visitors must bring a physical copy of a valid driver's license or government issued ID.

Quick Directions: Access the iPad on the stand > Select Visitors > Check in > Take your photo using the front camera > Read the tutorial > Take a photo of your license using the back camera > Scan the barcode on your license using the back camera > Select your destination.

Dear East Lake Parents and Guardians,

We are writing to inform you that there was an ambulance on our school campus earlier today to assist with a medical situation. Our staff followed all safety protocols. The situation was handled with the utmost care and efficiency. Throughout the situation, our staff and students followed their normal schedules with minimal disruption to their school day. We understand that seeing an ambulance at the school can be concerning. We want to emphasize that the safety and health of our students and staff are our top priorities. We are grateful for the response of the emergency services and the cooperation of our school community.

Dear Grade 4 Parents,

In our school district, students receive new Chromebooks in grades K, 5, and 9. For students entering 5th grade, devices are usually distributed at the end of 4th grade.

This year, due to delays in device availability, your child will receive their new Chromebook at the beginning of 5th grade.

We will share more information after the start of the new school year.
