The fifth graders in Mrs. Dunston’s class recently brought learning to life through a special performance of a reader’s theater titled “The Circles of the Earth.” Their audience? Their enthusiastic first-grade buddies from Mrs. D’Angelo’s class!
The students worked hard to memorize their lines, incorporate props, and creatively demonstrate the many ways Earth moves in cycles—like the water cycle, seasons, and day and night. Their performance not only showcased their understanding of science concepts but also their confidence and teamwork.
After the show, the fifth and first graders teamed up to create Earth-themed crafts, celebrating the beauty of our planet. Together, they shared thoughtful ideas on how to make every day Earth Day, from recycling and conserving water to planting trees and picking up litter.
It was a joyful and meaningful experience for everyone involved. We are proud of our fifth graders for being inspiring role models, and we love our buddies in Mrs. D’Angelo’s class!
