Good morning Students and Staff... Reminder: Today, 10/6/25, and tomorrow, 10/7/25, we will be conducting Underclass and Staff Photo Retakes in Cafeteria 141. Please visit during your lunch period if you would like to have your photo retaken. Also, on Friday, 10/17/25, we will be holding Senior Portrait Final Retakes in Cafeteria 141 during lunch periods.
Attention 12th Grade Students & Parents: Graduating seniors will be required to wear a "Cap and Gown". Orders will be taken, in person, on Tuesday October 21st and Wednesday, October 22nd in the Gym Lobby during all lunch periods. In addition, seniors will have the opportunity to order Class rings. Final Reminder: Dear Students & Parents of Students enrolled in College Courses from LIU...Please review the LIU High School Scholars Program Fall 2025 Parent/Guardian Letter and The LIU High School Scholars Program Fall 2025 Flyer regarding LIU credit registration and payment. This is only for students enrolled in MHS College Courses affiliated through LIU/Post. Please be mindful that all deadlines are firm and must be met to earn the credits.

The purpose of this Committee is to assess existing programs and practices in terms of the way they support students and then create improvements in these programs and practices. This team allows administrators, teachers, support staff, parents and students to collaborate in decision making and to share responsibility for improvement at the school level. Reminder: ONLY 2 DAYS LEFT!!!...Massapequa High School-Ames/Main Campus will be holding the second annual Homecoming Dance this year to kick off Homecoming Spirit Week. The dance will be on Thursday, October 16, 2025 from 6:30pm to 9:00pm. It will be held in the Berner Cafeteria and will be dressy attire. Tickets for the dance are now for sale during all lunch periods in both buildings. Tickets are $15 and must be paid by check made out to Massapequa High School. Students must also have a parent signed code of conduct with them when purchasing a ticket. Copies of the Homecoming Dance Code of Conduct can be picked up in the General Office or printed from the link.

Attention MHS Class of 2026...Senior Sunrise scheduled for tomorrow morning is being postponed until next Friday, 10/3 at MHS Stadium at 6:15 am.
