The situation at the District Office has been resolved. The Nassau County Police Department has completed their investigation and is now leaving the scene.

Reminder: Attention 12th Grade Students & Parents... Graduating seniors will be required to wear a "Cap and Gown". Orders will be taken, in person, on Tuesday October 21st and Wednesday, October 22nd in the Gym Lobby during all lunch periods. In addition, seniors will have the opportunity to order Class rings. Attention Seniors...Senior Portrait Final Retakes in Cafeteria 141 today. Students are scheduled by Island Photography for these retakes. Please check your email for your scheduled photo shoot so you know when you should be attending. If you are not scheduled for a retake today you must contact Island Photography to schedule your photos on a future date with them. Attention to MHS-Ames Campus Students Attending the Homecoming Dance,
Massapequa High School-Main/Ames Campus’ Homecoming Dance is tonight from 6:30pm to 9:00pm. It will be held in the Berner Cafeteria. Students who purchased tickets are reminded that they must follow all expectations outlined in the Homecoming Dance Code of Conduct. Ticket purchases are no longer available and will not be sold at the door.
Please note:
Students should not arrive before 6:30 pm. Doors will remain open until 7:15 pm.
Parking is available in front of the cafeteria and the south parking lot at Berner.
Parents dropping students off should pull into the south parking lot and circle around to exit the lot.
Please remember no limos, party vans and/or buses are permitted.
MHS will have a school nurse present and MHS chaperones will supervise the students.
Food and refreshments will be provided.
Entertainment will be provided by DJ. Photo opportunities will be available.
If students choose to leave the dance early, they will sign out and will not be permitted to re-enter. We encourage students and parents to communicate their drop-off and pick-up plans with each other.
Friday, October 17 is a regular school day.
