In Mrs. Gibbon’s Fourth Grade art class, students are learning to enhance their crayon drawings with oil pastels. This technique not only improves their artistic skills but also fosters creativity and self-expression.
Oil pastels are soft and easy to blend, layer, mix and shade all with the help of our fingers. Students learn the difference between tints (add white to a color) and shades (add black to a color). Oil pastels come in a variety of bright colors and are a game changer!
