Berner Middle School operations utilize a “house structure” to make class scheduling more flexible and to increase continuity between students, staff and the curriculum on each grade level. Currently, students are placed in one of three houses (Gold, Blue, Red) upon entering 6th grade. Each house is assigned a specific counselor who will travel with their students from grade to grade. In addition, each grade will be overseen by a grade level psychologist and social worker.
