Grade 3 Instrumental Music Meeting-
Dear Parent(s)/Guardian of 3rd Grade Students,
There will be an informational meeting for parents of beginner students today, Thursday, May 29th at 6:30pm at the Massapequa High School Band Room (room 105). The Instrumental Music Program will be explained and there will be an opportunity for parents to ask questions of the instrumental music staff. We look forward to seeing your child take part in this exciting musical adventure.
Respectfully,
Vincent Green, Director of Fine and Performing Arts
Dear Grade 4 Parents/Guardians,
All Grade 4 students will be exchanging their currently assigned Chromebook for a new Chromebook in the coming weeks.
Please note the following: If applicable, please remove any personal protective cases from the Chromebook. Students need to bring their current fully charged Chromebook and charger to school on the date indicated by their classroom teacher. Students will keep their current Chromebook bag. The new Chromebook will have a district-issued protective cover that must remain attached at all times. (This is in addition to their Chromebook bag that must be used when the Chromebook is not in-use.) The new Chromebooks may have limited/no battery charge. Teachers have been informed and will plan accordingly.
Thank you, The Massapequa School District

Well, it looks like those little quackers have caused too much fowl play! They've been waddling around where they shouldn't, so they're officially off the hook... or rather, out of the pond and not allowed at school anymore.
An official plastic duck (or any other plastic animal) ban goes into effect on Monday, May 19th!
Thank you in advance for your cooperation!

LAST CALL!
Help Unqua's Student Council "TAKE STEPS TOWARD A CURE" ALS Ride For Life was founded in 1997, by former teacher, Christopher Pendergast. Each May, during ALS Awareness Month, he held the "ALS Ride For Life". The first wheelchair ride in 1998 went from Yankee Stadium to Washington D.C. to raise awareness about this debilitating disease. While many of these patients have lost the use of their legs, Unqua School wants to show our support by "walking the distance" for them. This is a fundraiser to help raise money for this very important cause. We are suggesting a donation of $1/mile walked or whatever you feel is appropriate. Please use the QR code on the flyer and below or click below which will direct you to the donation page:
