P.S. I Love You Day is an internationally recognized event held annually on the second Friday of February. Its aim is to raise awareness about mental health and prevent bullying. This year, the theme is "Be the Light," and the color purple is prominently featured in the celebrations.
In honor of P.S. I Love You Day and our Acts of Kindness initiative, each child received a small lighthouse to color and return to school. Students were encouraged to decorate the lighthouse and write one way they could bring light to someone's life.
During the week of February 10th, our School Social Worker, Ms. Butscher, spread awareness by visiting classrooms. She educated students about mental health and provided tools to help them navigate difficult situations and manage big feelings.
