Dear Parents/Guardians and Students:
As the end of the school year approaches and more students are out in the neighborhood enjoying the warm weather, we ask that students be mindful of our neighborhood and community. We implore students to be a positive representation of Massapequa Schools and the Massapequa Community. We encourage all of our students to behave respectfully and appropriately when out in the community. More importantly, we want all of our students to make safe choices and not put themselves or others in danger.
Please be reminded to:
Be on time to school each day. Students must be in the building 7:28am.
Continue to wear IDs in school each day.
Be respectful to our neighbors.
Stay off private property.
Do not litter or throw garbage.
Do not taunt or yell at community members.
Drive slowly and carefully through neighborhood streets.
Park legally on our surrounding streets and designated spaces in the local lots.
Dress appropriately for an educational environment.
Please have conversations amongst your family about appropriate behaviors in and around school and the neighborhood. Our hope is that we can work together to educate our children on proper behaviors, creating an environment of respect within our town. We will continue to reinforce these reminders at school. We will work with parents, community members, and local businesses to address any issues that may arise. Together we can continue keeping our outstanding Massapequa community safe.
Thank you for your cooperation.

Eleventh and twelfth graders can attend during their lunch/study halls or out periods. Teachers are also invited to bring down their classes to participate.
