Dear Parents/Guardians of students currently enrolled in Geometry,
This is a reminder for students who are taking the Geometry Regents this Wednesday, June 11, 2025. All students will be taking the Regents at the Ames Campus located at 198 Baltimore Avenue in Massapequa. Please refer to the letter previously mailed home with your child’s bus route for this day.

Please note the following:
The Regents exam will begin promptly at 8:00 am and all students are expected to arrive at the Ames Campus by 7:27 am
Students must have their Student ID, pencil, pen, compass, and calculator
Students must sit for a minimum of two (2) hours but will be provided up to three (3) hours to complete the exam.
Students entitled to extended time will be provided the opportunity to utilize this accommodation.
All students will be provided bus transportation home, as they will be excused from MHS – Main Campus for the remainder of the day. The dismissal schedule is as follows:
10:20 am: regular dismissal
11:20 am: regular dismissal
12:50 pm: late bus area stops

Massapequa High School- Main Campus experienced a power outage for approx. 20 minutes from 1:40 pm to 2 pm today. PSEG- LI worked quickly to restore power while students were in their 9th period classes. All electrical power has been restored and the school will dismiss as usual at 2:25 pm.

Dear 10th grade students and families,
The Jr./Sr. PTSA has graciously bought a small gift for each of our 10th grade students. The gift is a small wallet case that can be attached to the back of a cellphone. 10th graders will receive their gifts from their social studies teachers this week.
We offer our heartfelt appreciation to the Jr./Sr. PTSA for all they do to support out students and school.

We know this is a busy time of year! As a reminder, all graduating Grade 12 students must return their currently assigned Chromebook and charger before graduation. Chromebook and charger drop-offs can occur during the below dates/times:
June 10-11: Chromebook & charger drop-off in the Center Lobby (West Side) – Periods 4 through 8
June 12- 27: Chromebook & charger drop-off in the Computer Lab (Room 217) – During the school day
June 30+: Chromebook & charger drop-off in MHS General Office
