On June 4, 2026, MHS hosted the Paws for a Cause: Honoring Heroes Dinner, organized by the Dog Rescue Club, Key Club, SADD, and Club America. More than 60 community members attended the evening in support of veterans and their service dogs.

The event raised over $1,700, which will be donated in full to Paws of War. Guests enjoyed a meal while visiting with veterans, meeting their service dogs, and hearing their stories.

We extend our gratitude to the local restaurants that generously donated food: Mercato Kitchen, Gino’s Pizzaria, Fredo’s, Phil’s 2, Bar Grazie, Zona, and Nautilus Diner. Their support helped make the evening memorable.

We look forward to hosting the event again next year and hope to make it even larger.
