MHS Students Visit Chef Eric LeVine Through School-to-Career Program

Mrs. Christina Sabbiondo, Culinary Arts Educator, led MHS students in the School-to-Career program, on a visit to Chef Eric LeVine at 317 Main for an on-site culinary experience. Chef LeVine, known for multiple Food Network appearances and his restaurants in Farmingdale, NY, welcomed a new group of students who are interested in becoming chefs or attending culinary school after high school.

During the visit, Chef LeVine shared his personal journey from working in kitchens and attending culinary school to opening his own restaurant and achieving professional success. He answered students’ questions about the life of a chef and entrepreneur, led a tour of the restaurant, and prepared lunch for the group at the Chef Counter while students watched and dined.

We thank Chef Eric LeVine for generously hosting our students and for supporting their career exploration each year.
