Over Thanksgiving, students from the FACS cooking classes generously donated pumpkin breads topped with a crumb topping and maple glaze to local food pantries. Every year, the students support the community by contributing to organizations like Yes Community Counseling and St. Rose Parish food pantry. Each group of students baked two loaves, keeping one for themselves and donating the other. This year, they successfully donated more than 50 loaves. Participating classes included College Food and Nutrition, College Art of Baking, and Cooking for Today.
