Massapequa High School art teacher Penny Schneider shared her recently published book, “Arty,” with youngsters in the preschool program on Jan. 9. She read aloud a chapter of the children's graphic novel about the betta fish who seeks out friendship.

The preschool program is run by high school students in the Child Study class, part of the Family and Consumer Sciences program.
