Birch Lane’s third, fourth and fifth graders traded their usual classrooms for an adventure as they were submerged in an interactive story world. The students became part of the narrative, stepping into an immersive environment where the plot came to life all around them. The students had to act like detectives—analyzing evidence, learning about characters, plots, themes and how to draw conclusions. It was a powerful, hands-on way to learn not only academics but also life skills.
