The book they have been anxiously waiting for was finally released on June 17 in an exciting moment for fifth graders at Birch Lane Elementary School. It was the 2025 yearbook.
The fifth grade parents committee hosted the annual bagel breakfast for the soon-to-be elementary school graduates. After some nourishment and conversation, it was time for the big moment. Teachers and parent volunteers handed out dark blue Class of 2025 drawstring bags to every child. Students quickly reached inside and pulled out the hardcover yearbook, filled with memories. The smiles were from ear to ear as they flipped through the pages.
Principal Stephen Aspetti reminded students to take good care of the books and to be thoughtful in their signed messages to each other, noting that the yearbooks are a lifetime keepsake.
