The Birch Lane PTA sponsored Pick A Reading Partner (PARP) program kicked off with an exciting assembly for all students that featured a magic show led by the talented Joe Romano. The assembly, titled "Smile - It's a Magic Show," captivated the students and sparked their enthusiasm for reading in a delightful and engaging way.

This year, Birch Lane’s PARP theme is "Adventures Around the World with Reading”. To make this program a success, students are encouraged to select a reading partner, and together, commit to reading for 20 minutes each day over the next three weeks. This collaborative reading time not only enhances comprehension skills, but also fosters a love for literature and the joy of sharing stories.

As they dive into their reading adventures, students will discover the magic of books, which can transport them to far-off places and ignite their imaginations. The PARP program aims to inspire a passion for reading that lasts a lifetime.
