McKenna Elementary held "First Responder Day" on Thursday, May 21st. This building wide initiative invited our brave first responders into the classroom to share some special time with our students. Students had the opportunity to welcome these visitors and express gratitude for all they do to keep us safe and secure. First Responders shared stories and experiences while emergency vehicles were parked outside for students to explore! At the end of the day, students lined the hallways as our brave first responders from all fields paraded by to the sounds of the pipe and drums!
