The first 100 days of school have passed for the kindergarten students at McKenna Elementary. As part of the 100th day celebration, students had the opportunity to venture to each kindergarten classroom where they engaged in “100th Day” learning activities. In Mrs. Bellomo's room, students participated in 100 exercises and then headed to Mrs. Mulitz's classroom to refuel. The students ate snacks in the shape of 100 while listening to a story. Next, they headed to Mrs. Ring's classroom where they built various creations using 100 cups. The students had a great understanding of the number 100! They know that 10 groups of 10 make 100 and have been practicing counting to 100 by ones, fives and tens! It was a great day of fun for all!
