Dear School Community,
After consulting with the Nassau County Department of Health, McKenna Elementary School will resume in-person instruction, except for those required to quarantine, on 12/14/20. In addition, Berner Middle School 6th Grade students will resume in-person instruction, except for those required to quarantine or have opted for full remote learning, on 12/14/20.
If your child is affected by the quarantine, you have already received specific information from building administration.
We are in constant contact with the Nassau County Department of Health and will follow all necessary protocols to reduce exposure to other students or staff. We will continue to take all necessary precautions to ensure the health and safety of the Massapequa community as this remains our priority.
All parents are reminded to continue to closely monitor their child for any signs of symptoms, complete the district’s Daily Health Screening and Student Attendance notification form on the Parent Portal.
We thank you for your cooperation and support during our shift to distance/remote learning.

Dear Massapequa High School Parents, Faculty and Staff,
Massapequa High School will resume in-person instruction for all students tomorrow, 12/11/20, except for those who have opted for full remote learning through 12/23/20.
All parents are reminded to continue to closely monitor their child for any signs of symptoms and to complete the district’s Daily Health Screening and Student Attendance notification form on the Parent Portal.

Due to the recent rise in positive cases of COVID-19 amongst students and staff, McKenna Elementary will be moving to full distance learning tomorrow, 12/10/20 and Friday, 12/11/20.
All students are required to sign-in to their teachers’ PowerSchool Learning classes to access their Google Meet codes and follow their normal class schedule. As a reminder, all students sign-in to PowerSchool Learning and Google Meet with their Google username (username@msd23.org) and password.
All parents are reminded that they are still required to complete our Daily Health Screening and Student Attendance notification form on the Parent Portal.

Due to a number of positive reported cases of COVID-19, and in an effort to support the DOH with contact tracing, Massapequa High School will be moving to full distance learning tomorrow, 12/10/20 for all students and staff members.

Please be advised that all Berner Middle School students in Grade 6 will remain on full remote learning tomorrow, December 8th and Wednesday, December 9th. All Grade 7, Grade 8 and students enrolled in the CCC program will return to school for in-person instruction tomorrow, December 8th.
