PRIVATE/PAROCHIAL SCHOOL APPLICATION FOR TRANSPORTATION

Residents of the Massapequa School District whose children will be attending a private/parochial school in the 2023-2024 school year may submit an application for transportation.

Please note the following guidelines and requirements: 

• THE APPLICATION DEADLINE IS THURSDAY, APRIL 1, 2023.
  
  
• A separate application must be submitted for each child and must be submitted every year, even if a child is currently receiving transportation. 
  
  
• ALL MASSAPEQUA RESIDENTS ATTENDING PRIVATE/PAROCHIAL SCHOOL MUST BE REGISTERED WITH THE MASSAPEQUA SCHOOL DISTRICT IN ORDER TO COMPLETE THE APPLICATION AND RECEIVE TRANSPORTATION AND OTHER SERVICES, SUCH AS TEXT BOOKS.
  
  
• Eligibility guidelines
  
  • Kindergarteners must be 5 years old as of 12/1/2023
  • Mileage
    • Kindergarten - more than ½ mile
    • Grades 1 through 9 - more than 1 mile
    • Grades 10 through 12 - more than 1 ½ miles
    • Transportation is not provided for a school over 15 miles from the residence.
