  • The Massapequa Public Schools are pleased to announce that we will be using My SchoolBucks for Summer Recreation and Sport Camps registration and payment.

    PLEASE NOTE: MySchoolBucks for the Elementary & Teen Center Recreation programs will be open through July 1st.  Starting July 8th you can register at each of the Recreation sites.  Checks will be the only form of payment accepted. 

    The 5-week discount ends on July 1st, NO exceptions.

    Sport Camps do have a cap and will shut down on MySchoolBucks the week prior to the start of camp.  If spots are available you can register for the sport camp in the Recreation Office the morning that the camp starts.  

    You DO NOT need your childs student ID to add them to your MySchoolBucks account.  If your child attends private school, your child must be registered with the Massapequa School District.  When adding your child to the MySchoolBucks account, from the dropdown choose Census School as your school.

    Incoming 2019 Kindergarten Students:

    Incoming 2019 Kindergarten students cannot be added to your My School Bucks account at this time. You must manually input their names on the Kindergarten Registration Form (go to the My School Bucks Kindergarten Tile and follow the instructions when registration opens.)

Summer Recreation & Sport Camps Program

  • Elementary Summer Recreation Program for Grades K-5: Each Massapequa elementary school offers a program for children entering grades K-5 in September. Activities include outdoor games daily, group parties, music, movies, sports, arts & crafts, talent show, arts & crafts exhibit and weekly trips.

    Teen Center Summer Program for Grades 6-8: 2019 Progam to be held at Birch Lane. Children entering grades 6-8 in September. Activities include game room, sports, indoor & outdoor activities, arts & crafts center, weekly trips.

    Sport Camps: there are a variety of camps available to students in grade K-12. All details are listed in the brochure.


    • Summer Recreation does not shut out. Once Recreation begins registration must be done at the Recreation School site. 
    • Five-week discount must be received by Monday, July 1st, NO EXCEPTIONS.
    • Starting July 8th you can register at each of the Recreation sites by Check ONLY.
    • Sport Camps do have a cap - it is a first come, first serve. 
    • Registration for all Sport Camps will be accepted until the Thursday prior to the start date of the Camp, provided space is still available.
