Self Direction

  • Game-U is a community class that teaches students of all abilities how to create their own video games. This includes skills such as coding, programming, 3d modeling, animation, graphic design and more. We use video games as a vehicle to teach these skills. We currently have over 500 students learning these skills in our live, interactive, online classes.

We are an approved community class and currently work with all the F.I.’s in NY. We do DIRECT BILLING so self direction clients do not have to pay anything out of pocket. Since our classes are a small ratio we can cater a class time and curriculum that best suits the students interests and skill level. Most students attend one time per week for 2 hours but we can also do a one hour class for younger students. There is no set time on how long the class will go on for as we have enough material to teach new topics for a long time. We do however strive to help the students complete projects so things are not completely open ended.
