Principal's Corner

Dear Parent(s)/Guardian,

Together, we continue to create excellence for our children as we focus on improving student and family engagement, implementing new curriculum, and creating and maintaining a culture and climate of student success.  We are determined, once again, to deliver excellent mathematics, reading and writing instruction, and we will continue to create a school where safety, respect, accountability, support and excellence are highly evident! 

We are confident that this coming year will continue to be filled with rich and rewarding experiences for our Kindergarten through fifth grade students that will reinforce the ideals and beliefs that J.P. McKenna has about the importance of educating children. We will continue to focus on the processes that spur continual advancement; evaluating what we have, determining what we can do to improve, and identifying what we need to make those improvements happen.  We look forward to working with each one of you and recognizing the professional talents and commitment it takes to do a challenging job well. 

The overall success of this school year will require each of us working closely together, listening to one another’s concerns and doing our part to contribute to a positive, healthy and safe school experience.
