ACCESS TO ABSENTEE BALLOT LIST
Any person who wishes to examine the list of absentee voters to whom ballots have been issued may request access to such list by e-mailing the District Clerk at firstname.lastname@example.org. The District Clerk will provide such access by emailing such list to the voter. If a qualified voter wishes to file a written challenge of the qualifications of any voter on this list, such challenge must be e-mailed to the District Clerk at email@example.com no later than 5 p.m. on June 9, 2020. Such e-mail must contain the reasons for such challenge. No written challenges received after 5:00 pm on June 9, 2020 will be considered.
SUBMISSION OF NOMINATING PETITIONS
District residents who are interested in running for a Board of Education position should contact Anne Marie Bellizzi, District Clerk, at 516-308-5001 or firstname.lastname@example.org to request nominating petitions.
Nominating petitions must be submitted to the District Clerk no later than Monday, May 11, 2020 at 5:00 p.m. in order to appear on the ballot for the June 9, 2020 election. In light of the restrictions imposed by COVID-19, petitions will be accepted by mail as well as by email to email@example.com
As per Executive Order 202.26, there is no minimum number of signatures required for the June 9, 2020 School Board Election.
